Yeah we’re gonna make you a ghetto-shelter and forge you a life. Forge me a life. Keep it lit. I have no idea what it’s for but it has to be done. It’s just a job, don’t worry about it. Who gives a shit anyway? Did you bring that black plastic stuff? Stretch it out and try not to let it touch itself. You got any cigarettes? Pass me that drill. Yeah we’ve a few days left to finish it.
Keef Winter (born 1980, Newtownards, N. Ireland) lives and works in London. He studied within the experimental pedagogical group Future Academy, Edinburgh College of Art and Rhode Island School of Design. He has written a PhD at The University of Ulster based around his idea of a ‘Handyman Aesthetic’. He directs Bruno Glint Gallery in London and runs Allotrope Press from there.
