”I experiment with non-art materials, non-traditional installation, and scale. My practice is characterised by an evolution from one painting to the next through a process of haptic negotiation rather than a fluent or strictly linear development – striving to filter and refine things to their essential character whilst testing the limits and possibility of painting. My work reflects a strong connection to experience, nature and the built environment with a nod to cultural referents and twentieth-century art history.”
